Some of the more popular techniques they use with their pottery involve carving, painting, and ceramic glaze. These men demonstrate hand-carving in the most intricate designs. It takes both time and skill to create what they do. The painting and ceramic glaze that are added on top take more imagination than anything else. When the designs are smaller, it requires a lot more concentration. They each develop their own signature styles as time goes on. Lee Hyang-Gu does a phenomenal job of shaping the clay into perfectly unique vases. Kim Seong-Tae is shown carving a beautiful floral design, while You Yong-Chul incorporates animal designs into his amazing artwork.
